Community Plate co-founder Margaret Hathaway will be participating in the plenary discussion panel at this year’s Maine Public Health Association 2025 conference along with representatives from Portland Community Squash and ROMEO (Retired Old Men Eating Out). The conference is titled Connections Build Health: Sparking Conversations, Strengthening Communities, and will have a focus on social connection and social health. The plenary panel will showcase some of the important efforts being made in building connections in Maine.
